Grazing Buffalo Eco-Landscape Design and Restoration

Now is a great time to rethink the way we design our green spaces. As our population continues to grow in our urban and suburban areas, it is important that we look to plants to not only beautify our cities and living spaces, but to also help solve some of the devastating environmental problems we face. Based in Buffalo and serving all of Western and Central New York, Grazing Buffalo is a landscape design company that builds resilient and sustainable landscapes with an emphasis on aesthetics. Our company creates artistically planned landscapes, with a deep understanding of the local ecology, and a palette that begins with native plants. By planting with diverse plant communities, we can greatly reduce the amount of routine maintenance that is typically needed, with countless ecological benefits, all while maintaining refinement and a formal feel. We envision a future in which people live more harmoniously with nature, where we begin to lose our attachment to lawns and look at the potential that lies beneath our feet. The landscapes we design will support populations of pollinators and songbirds that are in desperate need of viable habitat. We also design edible gardens that can provide bountiful harvests for yourself to enjoy. Our work will make your property more beautiful, while sequestering carbon, reducing and cleaning water runoff, creating new ecosystems and supporting existing ones. People long to experience the wonders of nature, let us help you bring that feeling to your yard, business, or public space.
